R - Radiant

A fearless southern girl is . . .

Radiant
She glows. The only way to get that glow is to first glisten. The only way to glisten is to get up and get moving. A fearless southern girl is always in motion; not the kind of nervous movement that fritters away the hours, but purposeful activity. She's energized by expending energy, both physical and mental. Whether working in her garden or running a marathon, planning a charity book fair or belting out hymns in the choir loft, the effort will add to her glow, her radiance.

Watered my garden this a.m., blew away pollen on sidewalk with blower, got the kitchen in order . . . yep, it all feels radiant. Hey, thanks for stopping by.

That's probably why I'm not very radiant, too much sitting on the computer. Need to move more - that will be my new motto, thanks :)
