Z - Zealous

A fearless southern girl is . . .

She is devoted and diligent in her tasks. Whatever she takes on, she applies herself with gusto. There's no halfway for a fearless southern girl. She attacks climbing a rock wall with the same fervor she attacks making brownies for the bake sale. In both cases, her best effort shines. If she commits to a committee, she sees it through to the end. A fearless southern girl's zealousness is the reason why she also has to fearlessly say no sometimes.

This post is part of the annual A to Z Blog Challenge. Click the link to visit other participating blogs. Consider joining the 2013 April A to Z Challenge. My participation in the 2011 Challenge resulted in the ABC Book of Literary Devices, available from

Great 'Z' word! I'm zealous about some things, but I'm not very good at saying no!
Congratulations on finishing the A-Z Challenge on not one, but two blogs! *pats you on the back* Well done!
